       Personalised Motor Cycle issues

Personalised Motor Cycle plates became available in 1979 and a choice of screen printed slogans were offered at the top of plate - 'NT Outback Australia' or 'NT Nature Territory'

Initially colours were limited to red on reflective white. 
Some variations in print style occurred over time.

Over time further varieties of personalised plates became available including three colour choices.
The screen printed upper slogans were dropped and replaced by the embossed 'NT'

Hire car and Taxi used same plate

From 1979 Taxis had their own plates.   Green on reflective white.
Slogan 'Outback Australia'.      Various die types used over time.

'Nature Territory' slogan is very unusual although there is at least one taxi still operating with it.

Substitute Taxi vehicle plate.  Used in conjuction with a small plate with original Taxi Number.

Private Hire Car   'PH'

In 1980 Private Hire vehicles issued distinctive plates - blue on reflective white.
Various blue colours have been observed also a number of print styles and spacings.
